Mooncusser Cove — a modern day retelling of Frankenstein with a Brigadoon twist. Ghost ships! Curses! Land pirates! Vampires who feed on sexual energy! The persecution of witches! Just another day at Vespers by the Sea bed-and-breakfast at Mooncusser Cove.
REVIEW: The Romance Studio (read full review here)—Mooncusser Cove is different from anything I’ve read in a while and that’s a good thing. The author told this tale with authority and made me believe it from the beginning. Her heroine is intelligent, stubborn to a fault, and engages in sex with nothing short of absolute glee. The characterization in this story was very strong but I particularly enjoyed the heroine. The sensual scenes were frequent and frank but blended into the story as prescribed making the plot flow very well. There were dark moments in the story, some that will stay with you after the tale is read, but it’s well worth it. Ms. Foster has a unique writing style that calls to mind the classics. Mooncusser Cove is a fast-paced, intense, and darkly erotic read. Don’t miss it!
REVIEW: Mrs. Giggles–Mooncusser Cove also drives home why I am a fan of this author: the story may not be a keeper for me, but I will definitely remember this one. The setting, the canon, and the last few chapters of this story are definitely unmistakably something straight of that sometimes scary place called Planet Darragha. At any rate, I’m glad that I get to visit that place again.
