This is my handsome nephew, Jacob, who is on a walk-about in Central America. I’m not sure who the girl is, but she seems to be very happy standing next to Loco Jacobo!

Jake should pose for romance novel covers. Don’t you agree?

Incidently, he agrees. :) We’ve discussed the matter when he was living in our shed’s mini-apartment.

  2. He is a hottie! I’d buy a book with his picture on it. ;)

“Living in the shed” huh? Just teasing - i’m sure your shed apartment makes a lovely home. I concur about your nephew making a good cover model.

  4. Hey…our shed has everything a single young man could want or need.

A bathroom, a hot plate, fridge, microwave, loft, hammock and access to auntie and uncle’s washer and dryer, spices, television…

I really miss him! He’s been gone since September. I spoke with his mother (my sister-in-law) last night, and he is as happy as that picture shows.

Jake quit emailing me in English some time ago. It’s now Spanish all the way. My poor tired brain!

He used to stand in the doorway of the shed, in his sarong (don’t ask…he liked wearing it) and pose for romance novel covers. “Hey, Aunt D.–what about this? Or this?” What a ham.

Hey - i’m thinking about throwing my sister a surprise Cabana Boy birthday party - maybe i could hire him as the cabana boy - in the sarong of course! He’d get hazard pay of course for being thrown into a large group of middle-aged women. Heh.

  6. He once did a striptease for his former girl-friend’s mother’s birthday. I think old mom was turning 70 or something. Too bad he’s staying in Central America awhile longer, huh?

Jake is a kick. He has a handsome younger brother–who married his high school sweetheart and is all into that “settled down” thing. Very cute couple.

  7. I’ll tell ya what get that lil hottie back here and we can make billions of his poses ~evil grin~

  8. Dang! If that’s what’s living in your shed I am dying to see what’s living in the house!
