This is not even unhealthy or unattractive. I am taken aback that the media is making comments about Tyra Banks’ body. Uh…hello…she’s flippin’ gorgeous! I was equally appalled at comments made about the Dutchess of York way back when. What’s wrong with being a size 14 or 16?
When did “beautiful” become synonimous with “stick?”

I am sooo with you on this one Dar!
I have two plus size, absolutely beautiful daughters and one daughter(currently 16 who is trying to be a size 2) and also beautiful (I’m predjudiced) but thinks she’s ugly because she’s not as small as Nicole Richie or the Ashley twins!
I hate what this countries media is doing to our daughters self-esteem!
It’s funny in a not very ha-ha way but i was thrilled recently to get down to size 16, yet i can remember when i was a size 1 (no, i do not kid you) and still thought i was fat. I sometimes wonder if i didn’t create a weight problem for myself by obssessing about it.
Oh and i guess i should clarify - i wasn’t anorexic - it was called “starving artist with no money to buy food” syndrome.
